Well colour me delighted, this is certainly right up our alley! An LA bride-to-be has been making waves in the blogosphere this week with her creative version of a bachelorette party, an epic music video!
Lauren MacKenzie was the last of her friends to get married and after being to so many bachelorette parties she was tired of the same ol’ (she’d been to Vegas 4 times!) So, she decided to do something fun and different. Lauren wanted a bachelorette celebration that could include all the important people in her life, like her grandma!
So with the help of LA production company Rantze + Raves, Lauren pulled out all the stops by hiring a director, make up artists and choreographers. The choreography was uploaded to Youtube so friends and family could learn the dance moves ahead of the date. The shoot was actually the first time everyone did the dance together! The video features 3 outfit, set and song (“Be My Baby”, “Crazy In Love” by Beyonce and “Timber” by Kesha and Pitbull) changes allowing the bride and her crew to really make the most out of the music video experience. After the video was edited, Lauren debuted it as a surprise at her wedding.
We think this is such an awesome idea. In fact, we’ve actually done this before! A former bride, Fiona, had her and her bridesmaids shoot a music video to Taylor Swift’s “22” after her Alice in Wonderland themed bridal shower. Check out the video and our blog post on it here.
We love when brides think outside of the box and do something different with their wedding videography. If you’re interested in doing something similar, whether it be a fun engagement video, a bachelorette shoot or just as a day of fun to say thank you to your bridesmaids, we’d love to hear from you!
