Concept Video – Taylor Swift ’22’ Remake

When most people think of wedding videography, they think of a film of the wedding day for the couple and their guests to watch and cherish. Sometimes though, videography can be used on your wedding day to wow your family and guests during the reception. Some couples opt for a same day edit (a video shown during the reception of the ceremony and of the wedding party getting ready for the day), some choose to film an interview explaining how they met, and for the lucky ones who captured it, a video of their proposal. For our bride Fiona though, she chose to surprise her wedding guests with a music video of her and the bridal party!

Fiona wanted to thank her bridesmaids and close friends for all of their hard work and years of friendship so she recruited Brightside Films for a fun day of filming their own music video! Shot the day of her Alice In Wonderland themed bridal shower, we did a liberal reenactment of Taylor Swift’s ’22’ music video using the amazing props and costumes from the shower. The weather didn’t cooperate like we had hoped, but we think we got some great shots of the girls dancing in the rain! We love this idea of a friendship video and think it’s a great way to pay homage to the people in your life that have always been there for you. Not to mention how amazing this keepsake will be years down the road. Keep an eye out for Fiona and her husband Dean’s wedding highlight film to hit the blog in the coming weeks to see more fun. In the meantime, check out the video below or click here to see a behind the scenes sneak peek of their wedding day photoshoot.

  1. Omg this is like all of my high school dreams come true!! What a cute idea! This would be so fun as a bachelorette idea!

  2. I absolutely love this idea!! Wish I had thought of it to do with my bridesmaids. I will definitely suggest it to all my girlfriends. I love watching videos at weddings or rehearsal dinners of the bride and groom and their wedidng parties, it’s a great way to learn more about everyone.
