I couldn’t resist the title. This video is so amazing. I mean, obviously the quality isn’t the best but what a great way to gather an added perspective on your big day. A heartfelt addition to a stellar videography service!
Josh and Addie Burnette strapped a GoPro camera to their pup Ryder for an extra personal video of their wedding day. On their 1 year anniversary, the newlyweds released the footage on Youtube, hilariously commenting “Our dog, Ryder, insisted on filming the wedding video, so we let her do her thing. She took awhile to edit the footage, but we think she did a great job.”
Set to “Spirit Cold” by indie folk band Tall Heights, the video showcases 2 minutes of the entire wedding day beginning with the bride getting ready and ending with a small reception at home. The winter wedding took place last November on top of Roan Mountain in Tenessee, The bride told Refinery29 “We actually eloped, so everything was last minute, including my wedding dress. The cool thing about it is that we eloped to the same mountain where we had our first date 10 years before, and it just so happened to snow two feet that day.”
The video quickly went viral, with almost 5 million views in less than a month.
