Slow-motion video booths have become a popular addition to weddings since their introduction this past summer by San Francisco based company, Super Frog Saves Tokyo.
I first heard about slow motion booths this past summer when a bride from an upcoming wedding asked if we could do this at her wedding. She had seen the video that was circulating all over the internet, “Quang and Ellie’s Slow Motion Wedding Booth” by SFST and thought this would be a perfect fit for her wedding. Upon seeing the video I loved the concept instantly and couldn’t wait to make one at Caitlin and Lex’s wedding. I knew they would be the perfect couple to do this with as I knew how fun and easy-going they were from spending the day with them at their family cottage in Muskoka making their engagement video. Caitlin and I spent a lot of time brainstorming on the phone in the upcoming days before the wedding and came up with a list of ideas and props.
Here is Caitlin + Lex’s Wedding Slow-Motion Booth. It was filmed between 10PM and 1AM at their wedding in Minett, Ontario at Cleveland’s House.
