With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it’s hard not to get swept up in the romanticism of the holiday with hearts, chocolates and loved up couples scattered everywhere. Just like the month of December, early February has something in the air with the promise of a romantic holiday with loved ones.
With that said, weddings and Valentine’s Day just seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly. So in honour of love day next weekend, we have a sweet treat for you today (literally). We’re talking the cutest idea the wedding cake industry has ever seen! A cake filled with love!
UK event designers Knot & Pop and bakery Sugared Saffron came up with the brilliant idea to fill a wedding cake with loving secrets about the couple – where they shared their first kiss, who said I love you first, silly pet names. However sweet (ha!) or silly, this wedding cake is both fun and personal, allowing your guests to learn more about the relationship they’re celebrating. And what a WOW factor, am I right? Imagine the shock when you cut into your wedding cake and all your secrets come pouring out!
