Happy Halloween everyone! In honor of one of Brightside Film’s favourite holidays I present to you a classy, chic Halloween inspired wedding shoot from our friends over at Ruffled Blog. When most people think of Halloween weddings, they think of gimmicky or overly gothic, this shoot proves that even morbid can be chic if done right. Take a look below and let us know what you think!
Photographer, Analisa Joy had this to say about the shoot “I was inspired by those famous vows our couples share every year. “Till Death Do Us Part” encompasses eternal romance and an evermore covenant. I wanted to combine the charm of a wedding with the mystery of Halloween. The woodsy wonderland of La Bella Vida Estate was the perfect backdrop for this.
The touches of mini white pumpkin place cards, eerie fog, and dry ice martinis brought in that spark of Halloween. The ombre color palette of black to white, the beautifully textured blooms and ambient candle lighting kept its elegance. I fell in love with the eccentricity of the hand painted and crafted signs, place cards, menus, and invitation.
We wanted the bride to have two different looks. The first being more bridal, dressed in a sun peeking through white ball gown dressed with soft curls and a more playful, natural look. The other to be the complete opposite, more stylized in her black gown with a darker more mysterious appearance. The groom was the perfect balance to both of these.”
