Engagement Photo Trend – Recreating The Notebook

If you can actually believe it, this Wednesday, June 25th marks the 10 year anniversary of The Notebook. If you haven’t seen it (and if you haven’t, promptly direct yourself to Netflix – after you finish reading this of course) the movie is based on the Nicholas Sparks’ book of the same name that captured the hearts of a generation. The classic love story of Noah and Allie can still bring grown women to tears and can even make men hug their lady a little closer.

Now that a generation of young viewers have grown up and found their own Noah’s and Allie’s, a new trend has started popping up on the engagement photo scene. Yes, you guessed it. Couples are now recreating classic scenes from The Notebook as their engagement photos. If you’re a bird, I’m a bird? Check. Old time outfits while laying down in the middle of a empty road? Check. Vintage red truck out in the country? You got it. And if you’re lucky, it will rain and you’ll get your chance at recreating the best kissing scene of all time!
